Gift ideas for guys

I am taking a trip to Bermuda in December to visit a friend. Well, my friend is hoping for more, but I am undecided. We went on a couple of dates many moons ago, but I am going there because I thought it might be fun. I would like to find an appropriate gift for this guy. Of course, I want to give him something gerenic, but want to let him know that I apprecaite the gesture. Any ideas?
